Black x Marsala

City of Dreams Manila
Outfit of the day

Im kind of experimenting on my look as of the moment, so most of the time i just wear something im comfortable with. I'm not really the type of "fashion blogger" who has a distinct fashion style unlike everybody else but I just want to show people how to look stylish without compromising comfort.

City of Dreams

Hyatt Hotel, City of Dreams Manila

I was not able to explore the whole Hyatt Hotel but I was able to explore the pool side area and their bistro.

The Ilustrados.

I've been hearing stories and hearsay about The Ilustrados clothing shop. I was really curious about their products and how good the quality is. I've been seeing social media posts about their famous mandals, button downs and even bags, and people seem to like it very much. So i decided to buy one for myself, and ordered online. It took me a while to be able to have my own pair of their mandals, and i have to go to their shop in Quezon City to get it. It was my first time to visit their store, and i was really shocked that it was just a small office and few displays of their products, but it was a good trip going their 'coz i was able to see more options of what they can offer.

They have a wide variety of button downs available now that fit perfectly with your style.

EASTWOOD - a photo diary

here are random snapshots i took during my last trip to Eastwood last February 19, 2104.

KOGI BULGOGI: Korean Cuisine

it's Chinese New Year, and it seems that good luck is not on our side haha we tried to go to Showtime, again but unfortunately we were not able to get in because no more available slots in both guest lists and walk-in. So we then went to Eastwood to have lunch and we decide to have lunch at Kogi.
We tried their Hot Stone Bowls; because it seems delicious it's very affordable.

Bubble Gang Studio Visit

02.16.2014 | Bubble Gang Studio Visit // 4:00 in the afternoon.

Right after Showtime, we then went to the new building of the GMA Studios to visit my cousin's friend Juancho Trivino over his shooting for the hit comedy show, Bubble Gang.

here are some photos i took during their taping.
i never expected to see this big studio. all along i though it's just a green-screen effect.

Showtime Experience

02.16.2014 | ABS-CBN Studio, Quezon City.

Bored and got nothing to do, so me and my cousin decided to visit the studio of ABS-CBN's Showtime; the best noon time show in the country today. We went there with no guest list or visitor's pass, so it  was really a test of luck for us. We walked-in the audience entrance wishing that we can be able to enter the studio. We arrived around 7:00 in the morning, and we will know if we will be able to get in around 10:30 in the morning. We waited along other with walk-in people for few hours, tired and super sleepy. We got somewhat hopeless because the walk-in people can only get in once the number of visitors and studio tours will not reach 410. So around 10:00 in the morning a person announced that all people who walked-in can get in. So at least our effort and wasted time is worth it.

02.15.2015 | Clark Air Base, Pampanga

We were supposed to leave Sta Rosa, Laguna at 4:30 in the morning, unfortunately everyone woke up late and been able to leave at 6:30 in the morning. So we arrived in Pampanga at around 9:30am, the first schedule of flying the balloons is over. We got there witnessing the flying exhibition of the planes, and para-gliding.

Here are some photos of my first Hot Air Balloon Festival Experience.

C A L E R U E G A Chapel

Caleruega-Philippines is a Retreat Center administered by Fathers and Brothers of the Dominican Province of the Philippines located in Batulao Nasugbu, Batangas. Caleruega is probably known as the most popular wedding chapel around Tagaytay. It is much photographed, and the image of the chapel of Transfiguration is most likely etched on the visitor’s, or prospective visitor’s minds.

But what exactly is Caleruega? Caleruaga is a town in Spain, the birthplace of St. Dominic de Guzman, father of the Order of Preachers. The Filipino Dominicans wanted to honor the legacy of their founder by naming this retreat destination in his honor.

P A M A N A : a Legacy of Filipino Cuisine

February 14, 2015 - Tagaytay

My family celebrated Valentine's day  together in Tagaytay and dine in at Pamana Restaurant; one of the best Filipino restaurant in town.

"Pamana" or Inheritance, live for its name. Situated beside the Boutique Hotel, near the Tagaytay Rotunda, Pamana is the best known for its homemade Pinoy dishes using the best-kept secret recipes of the Ongpauco family that has been handed over from generation to generation.

Pamana has this modern facade but once you get inside the restaurant, you have this homey feeling; because of its very beautiful and charming interior and cozy ambiance. It is really the place to go if you want to enjoy good food, the cool climate of Tagaytay; with a great view of Taal Lake and the comforting feeling of being right at your grandparent's ancestral house in the province.

D L S U University Week 2015

It's the last day of the De La Sall University week and luckily i was able to join in the celebration since their campus has been opened to the public for the night, though outsiders like me must pay Php 200.00 just to get in, quite expensive but got no choice haha. It was actually my first time to join in the celebration and I went with my sister Kim Therese since she is a student in the institution. It was not what I'm expecting it to be, i was kinda disappointed because it was kinda boring. Though it's not as energetic and as alive as i expected, at least the booths entertained me with their great selections at a cheaper price and very delicious food. I also enjoyed hearing famous OPM bands play their awesome songs that made me jump into the beat and shout my lungs out while singing along with them.

here are some of the photos i took.

S A G I N G R E P A B L I K: Sagingese Cuisine in Davao

Davao region is one of the biggest producer of Bananas in the Philippines. To maximize the use of this fruit, one restaurant has made a difference and establish an interesting idea in incorporating bananas in their food, SAGING REPABLIK.
Opened last year 2014, Saging Repablik has really established it's name as one of the most visited cafe/restaurant in Davao City. It is located along V. Mapa St. corner Tionko Ave. The rustic industrial architectural design with high ceiling and large space of the place makes it awesome and it gives a relaxing and comfortable feeling. Saging Repablik had made their presence felt and ready for a healthy competition among the restaurants here in Davao since it opened its doors to the public.  What made them stand out and became talk of the town was the incorporation of bananas on their dishes. And i must say that they did it really well.
