Ballet Manila: Ballet & Ballads

I am grateful to be invited to witness Ballet Manila's performance for Ballets and Ballads, their epic end of season act during their premiere night last February 10, 2018 at the Aliw Theater, Pasay City. It's more than just a concert, it is a mini music festival that creates the perfect mash-up of classical ballet, opera, pop, and Original Pinoy Music (OPM).

I can say it's one of the perfect ways to celebrate the love month as the country's premiere singers and entertainers captivate the hearts of every person sitting inside that theater and hearing their wonderful voices and seeing spectacular movements of every presentation. Truly, Love is in the air!

Ballet Manila was able to put on a show that showcases the talents of the Asia’s romantic balladeer Christian Bautista; together with the artists of the Klassikal Music Foundation composed of: international baritone Andrew Fernando, sopranos Jade Riccio & Stephanie Aguilar, mezzo soprano Krissan Manikan, tenor Leo Lanuza, with the special participation of Dr. George T. Yang. The ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra with guest conductor Joshua dos Santos who provides the live accompaniment. Such a must-see performance! It is a star-studded spectacle with multi-talented performers.

Thank you to Gian Figueroa and to the ARC Public Relations Team for inviting me and giving me the chance to witness this awesome and spectacular performance of the Ballet Manila performers.  I am looking forward to watch them perform in their future spectacles.
